Hosts Kyle Kimbllin and Cody Nelson return to the One Hit Wonderful World a second time with their friend Lizzie Gardner to talk about a band responsible for nearly half of all lower back tattoos in America: Crazy Town.

In addition to some hot takes on their smash hit, the gang tackles lead singer Shifty Shellshock's various demons as well as providing an in-depth look at the sophomore album Darkhorse. Not included: An answer to the question "How the hell did these guys manage the initial hit?"

July 29, 2016 02:27 PM PDT

In the inaugural episode of 'One Hit Wonderful World,' hosts Cody Nelson & Kyle Kimbllin take on the group responsible for potentially THE one-hit wonder: Dexy's Midnight Runners. The discussion includes a look at the tumultuous history of the band, the dark undertones of their breakout track, and an in-depth look at the multitude of failures that made up their following album Don't Stand Me Down. Also included: what happened to the Newsies, rock operas, and just how to handle the world of one-hit wonders (what makes one? is the name offensive? do we rank them at all? how do we not condescend within an inherently condescending concept?).

New episodes every Friday! Each episode will contain discussion on an album the hosts and guests have listened to in full. Listen to said album in advance to maximize podcast enjoyment!

Cody Nelson, host of the brand-new and inevitably megahit podcast 'One Hit Wonderful World,' talks about Hoku, the film Snow Day, and the podcast itself in this bite-sized minisode.

New episodes every Friday!
